Making blocks

- The best materials for making blocks and stamps are foamy and kinda spongy, like funky foam and woollen fabrics. Here I'll make blocks from woollen fabric.

- It'll be easier to start if you first draw the pattern on paper, and then copy it on the fabric.

- Cut the pattern from the fabric and glue it on crinkled cardboard.
- Cut the extra carboard.
- Glue another layer of crinkled cardboard on the blocks. Make sure that the crickles are placed differently that the first layer. This'll make the block stronger and it won't bend too easily.
- Again, cut the extra cardboard.

- Tape a piece of folded paper on the other side of the block. This will enable to you lift the blocks easier when printing.
 - Block are ready o/

- The fabric in the block will absorb some of the color in the beginning, but the more you use them, the less they'll absorb.
- You can try and wash the block, but I won't say anything how well the cardboard can handle being washed :P

Hint! Outline the patterns with a marker. This makes then more defined.
